What's up with the governers these days, First, Kwame Kilpatrick and now Rod R. Blagojevich. The midwest must be putting something in the drinking water. I take it everyone has heard that they have voted to impeach him. Yet, It seems as though, based on his arrogance he was not anticipating this day would come. Unfortunately, for him, he doesn't have alot of fans. My advice to him while cuddled up with his bible in his cell at night, besides keeping one eye open that is, you know you've seen OZ, that if ever granted the opportunity to serve in a position of power again, think twice about abusing it.
1.)What inspired you to apply for this internship?a.) The interviewer wants to explore my passion to do the job. This question can also be used to further assess or screen my motivation to achieve and to excel.b.) My passion for politics as well as my pursuit of a degree in political science really inspired me to pursue this internship. I feel this will be an invaluable experience that would last a lifetime. I also feel it will give me a first hand view of how the government operates. 2.) What experiences have you had the prepared you for this opportunity?a.) The interviewer is would able to assess my professional and personal background that would prepare me for this internship. Experiences also provides the context for the level, role, tasks, and responsibilities, I would be called to manage.b.) My volunteer experiences as well as my with Victorious Life Coaching has really helped to shape my professional and personal background preparing me for this opportunity.3.) What professional and leadership qualities do you possess for this internship?a.) It is always important for job interviewers to experience how candidates are able to express themselves intellectually, socially and psychologically. Esssentially, the interviewer is posing a question on-going during the interview, "am I able to relate and respond to relevant questions regarding the internship" and "am I able to engage and connect with others".b.) My ability to think critically, organize, and work well with others are three essential qualities I possess for this internship. 4.) Can you speak to how you work with others?a.) Interviewers want to know how well I work with others, as this impacts on job performance and the delivery of program and service outcomes. This question provides the interviewer with a sense and pulse for my confidence and fit for their team.b.)I work extremely well with others. I am a great listener, collaborator, and takes direction very well. My work with Victorious Life Coaching afforded me the opportunity to collaborate on group intiatives and project development planning. 5.) How do you define supervision? What do you look for from this process?a.) Supervision is a critical part of any position or internship; the teaching-learning process of a job, more specifically, for that of an intern. The interviewer wants to evaluate how open I am to utilizing this process for learning and achieving my goals.b.) I too define supervision as being a very valuable part of this process. I view it as a collaborative partnership to a full and rich experience. This is an opportunity for me to receive hands on training as w ell constructive criticism.
